I am the lead neurologist for the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Bristol Eye Hospital. I have been an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol since 2008.

From 2018 to 2022 I was Neurology Training Programme Director for the Severn Deanery and a member of the Neurology Specialist Advisory Committee.
I began specialist training in neurology in 2001. My areas of specialist interest and research include neuro-ophthalmology, optic neuritis, headache, facial pain, trigeminal neuralgia, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, idiopathic intracranial hypertension and carbon monoxide poisoning.
